Experience the highest quality coffee, harvested and roasted at origin by our families.
The name "Talian" for our brand is inspired by the rich history of Italian immigration to Brazil between 1875 and 1914. These Italian settlers, primarily from the Veneto region, contributed to the emergence of a unique Brazilian dialect, known as Talian, rooted in their Venetian language. Our brand celebrates the fusion of Italian and Brazilian cultures, reflecting the heritage and regionalism of this linguistic blend.
Nestled in the mountainous region of Espírito Santo, Brazil, our family, the Busato and Pizzol, found their home in the town now known as Venda Nova do Imigrante. This picturesque setting amid the Atlantic Forest contributes to the cultivation of elegant, balanced coffee with a distinctive aroma. Coffee farming is the primary agricultural activity in Espírito Santo, supporting around 400,000 jobs directly and indirectly, with approximately 73% of local producers being from family-owned farms. With an average farm size of 6 hectares, there are 131,000 families in Espirito Santo who play a vital role in our coffee production.
Our commitment to superior quality is evident in our hand-picked coffee beans, cultivated exclusively on mountainous farmlands in Venda Nova do Imigrante, situated at elevations ranging from 730 to 1500 meters. In this challenging terrain, coffee cultivation is a labor of love. Steep slopes and high altitudes render modern machinery impractical. Just as our great-grandfather did when he first arrived from Italy more than a century ago, every coffee bean is carefully handpicked and selected. He recognized the potential for perfection in these slow-maturing beans. The art of growing this coffee is a sacred tradition passed down through generations, and it's now our privilege to carry it forward.
If you love coffee and history, we're the team for you.
